  1. Animals of the Zoo

We recently embarked on a big family holiday, there were 5 children from a cute 5 month old baby to a 8 year old little lady. We took this puzzle with us and it was a definately hit!

It's one of our best selling toys and you can really see why. Every piece represents an animal to correspond to a letter of the alphabet, e for elephant, c for cat, g for giraffe and so it goes on. All of the letters are in lower case so easily recognisable for early readers.

  2. This week's toy of the week is the Bajo Tipper Truck/ Shape Sorter. That's right, it's multifunctional, the ultimate toy doubling up as a shape sorter. The classic given a modern twist. The truck is sturdy, hard wearing with moving parts to stimulate child's imagination and promote creative play. The shape sorter lid can be removed so the truck can be loaded up with other objects.

  3. Charming. One of the words that has been used to describe any in the Orange Tree Music Box range from The Wooden Play Den. Cute is another. Wind it up from underneath, and then watch as the small figures dance jauntily, playfully, circling round, catching the eye of babies and toddlers. The Music Boxes measure 10 cm by 10 cm, by 7 cm high, with the small characters on top of the box, and look just lovely on a child's bedroom or nursery book shelf. Children will love them: they make a noise and provide movement, and play music.
